The time just flies by and from 22 weeks in Beijing, just 18 are left.
Next week, there is the ‘golden week’-national holidays- which means that all Chinese are on the move…billions of people…I can just imagine…Officially, employees are just 3 days off. To make it a full week, Chinese had this ‘great’ idea to work 7 days in advance (including the weekend) to guarantee consecutive days of holidays. Thus, I am working the whole week right now.

As it was announced on my university’s online Blackboard to show something of my working environment, I regrettably can’t publish pictures within my office. But will do my best to at least photograph the building from outside. Most of the people you will see on the pictures are probably going to be collegues...probably not all of the 400 houndred employees, but I will try to picture a fair amount :)

For those of you who do not like to read a lot, I will keep this a bit shorter and more virtual by adding a few pictures of what I’ve been doing lately:

At the Paralympics:
Luckily I got to go to the Paralympics. Due to Volkswagen's sponsorship, I even got some exclusive tickets. So I shared my happyness with the dutch Niels. The picture cant really reflect what I've been feeling when I entered the birdsnest...it is amazing!

In Qingdao over mid-autumn:
